The only book you'll need for SAT grammarThis is a great book. I don't know for other students, but I really liked the no-bs instruction style of this book.
Having said that, if you're looking for information about the test structure or basic stuff go buy a different book. (Plus, you can google that kinda information)
This book gets straight into many "one point lessons" - only picking out the common appeared problems on the SAT writing section
I've only been studying SAT grammar for about 6 months now, but I definitely recall seeing a lot of problems that look exactly the same on all the practice tests I took.
This book is organized in three main chapters + additional practice tests.
1. Idiomatic Phrases / Sentences
2. Prepositional Phrases
3. Diction
Not to mention 7 Practice Tests and about 300 Idiom questions at the end.
Again, if you are looking for a no-nonsense book for SAT grammar, get this book.

Paul's SAT Grammar Book is an excellent read for anyone who needs to freshen up on English grammar before taking a standardized exam like the SAT. Reading through the textbook helped me remember different quirks about the English language that I had forgotten over the years since fourth grade and helped me catch myself before making dumb mistakes on actual college entrance exams. The lessons are presented in a very orderly, organized way, making them easy to follow, making them useful for both foreigners working to master a new language and native English speakers in need of a slight refresher in the mechanics of their language.
The only book you'll need for SAT grammar
