I love reading the recipes and the anecdotes included in the book. It gives you an idea of the different flavors in different areas of Ireland. There aren't too many recipes that I would cook verbatim - especially the lamb (it must be cheaper in Ireland), but I think I could Americanize several of them enough to feed friends and family.

Flavors of Ireland is a wonderful cook book and guide to Ireland. Enjoyed the recipes and the photos of Ireland.
